Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Napoleon Dynamite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sherman tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sherman tank has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Napoleon Dynamite's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dynamite avoids a punch combination nicely.
sherman tank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
tank fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dynamite keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like sherman tank has been cut.
tank misses with a takedown attempt - Dynamite sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
tank fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
tank shoots in but Dynamite avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Napoleon Dynamite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of sherman tank.
tank tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

tank looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dynamite is fending him off so far but tank persists. Nope, Dynamite circles away and we're back to standing.
Dynamite fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

tank drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

tank thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dynamite takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
tank postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
tank working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
tank tries to score with some ground and pound. Dynamite controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Dynamite is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
tank misses with the ground and pound.
tank fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dynamite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for tank on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

tank thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dynamite dodges the ground and pound from tank.

tank wants to control but Dynamite is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dynamite lands a jab to the head.
tank waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Dynamite.
Dynamite scores with a jab. tank acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

tank feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as tank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dynamite holds on and takes a little breather.
Dynamite is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Napoleon Dynamite will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on sherman tank's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dynamite throws a left that rocks tank and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dynamite dives into side control, looking to finish! Can tank regain composure!

tank can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
tank throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
tank is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on tank's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

tank is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
tank is breathing heavily.
Dynamite blocks the strikes from tank.
tank has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
tank fails with the takedown.
tank closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

tank gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That has opened up sherman tank's cut even more.
Dynamite with a jab.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dynamite! tank is out on his feet! Dynamite rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - tank is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! tank is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
