Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fuk Yuuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuk Yuuu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuuu shoots for a double leg takedown but Hess sprawls well. He's pushed Yuuu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yuuu throws a head kick but Hess moves out of range.
No luck for Hess with that takedown attempt.
Yuuu with a poor takedown
so Hess counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hess tries to free his leg and advance position but Yuuu is retaining full guard.
Hess won't allow Yuuu to sweep him here.
Yuuu could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hess throws a strike but Yuuu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hess has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yuuu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hess has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hess escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yuuu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yuuu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hess is looking for a triangle but Yuuu pushes his legs off easily.
Hess throws his legs up looking for a submission but Yuuu uses it to pass to side control.

Hess is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yuuu.
Hess shoots in for a double leg but Yuuu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Yuuu counters with a good, hard body kick but Hess shrugs it off.
Hess is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Yuuu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yuuu looking to throw knees to the head but Hess is blocking nicely.

Yuuu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Yuuu, right into the meat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Yuuu with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hess tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yuuu just stands there and leans against the cage.

Yuuu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

No joy there for Yuuu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hess closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yuuu circles away.
Yuuu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hess as he jumps to the side.
Yuuu moves into the clinch successfully.
Hess gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Hess wants to take a breather but Yuuu is having none of it.
Hess is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Yuuu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hess's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hess's back!

Hess breaks Yuuu's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Yuuu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hess's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hess has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Yuuu is trying to keep an underhook but Hess manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Yuuu has control of Hess's left arm, preventing Hess from doing any damage.
Hess postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Yuuu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hess, into his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yuuu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yuuu stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Yuuu throws a head kick but Hess moves out of range.

Hess forces Yuuu back against the cage and clinches.
Hess tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yuuu smiles and moves away.

Yuuu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hess throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yuuu's waist but Yuuu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hess off to one side.

Hess closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hess wants to stand but Yuuu has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
