Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick misses from Barksdale.
A little jabbing left from Chao on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Barksdale connects with a leg kick. Chao looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Barksdale shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Barksdale throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Eindria Chao has been cut.
A slow jab from Chao misses its intended target.
Avon Barksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A swing and a miss from Barksdale.
Chao let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Barksdale misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Chao to counter with a crisp jab.
Barksdale connects with a solid leg kick.
Barksdale tries to land a front kick but Chao steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Barksdale cracks a nice hook into Chao's ribs.
Barksdale slips under a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Barksdale. Chao shrugs it off though.
Chao takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barksdale scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Chao takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Chao looks winded!
Chao takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barksdale lands a big right hand that sends Chao crashing to the mat! Barksdale stays standing though and waves Chao back to his feet!
Chao is rocked!
Barksdale throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Chao is still on wobbly legs! Can Barksdale finish him?
Barksdale lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Avon Barksdale!
Avon Barksdale got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
