Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adnan Zajev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zajev connects with a high kick.

Young drives through with a takedown into Zajev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Young stands and steps away. Zajev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Zajev throws a half hearted mid kick.

Young closes the distance and pushes Zajev back into the cage.
Young stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Young has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zajev after a bit of a struggle.
Young changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zajev fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Zajev plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Young shoots in for a takedown but Zajev shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Adnan Zajev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Young.

Zajev throws a nice looking combination but Young bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Young blocks a head kick by Zajev.
Young wants to counter the offense by Zajev and move into the clinch position.
Jamie Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Young lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zajev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zajev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Young has Zajev up against the cage in a clinch.

Young escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Young avoids the head kick by Zajev.
Zajev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zajev throws a head kick that misses.
Young wants to counter with a clinch but Zajev pushes him away.
Young tries for a takedown but Zajev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Young swings for the body but Zajev moves out of range.
Zajev scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Young avoids the head kick by Zajev.

Young will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Young throws a lazy right hand but Zajev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Zajev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Young moves into the clinch.
Young has Zajev pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zajev manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Young misses with a knee to the head.
Young tries to pull guard but Zajev won't allow it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Zajev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zajev throws a series of punches but Young avoids them all with ease.
Zajev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Zajev counters with a head kick that drops Young to the mat! Young scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Young is rocked!
Young looks winded!

Zajev throws a powerful right kick. Young tried to block low but the kick was high! Young was taken right off of his feet! Zajev jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
