Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Umber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy DePolito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umber tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but DePolito swivels and escapes.
DePolito throws a series of punches but Umber moves out of range.
DePolito shoots in but Umber avoids the takedown attempt easily.

DePolito gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

DePolito working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Umber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Umber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
