Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard has chosen Dope by T.I. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett lands a high kick!

Minard drops Fett with a beautiful combination! Fett stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Minard is looking for the KO!

It looks like Vasili Fett has been cut.
Fett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Minard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Minard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fett pinned against the cage. Fett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
An attempted straight right counter from Fett misses the target.
Horrible takedown attempt by Minard or perhaps it was just good defense by Fett, which made it look bad.
Minard blocks a head kick by Fett.
Minard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Minard misses with a wild body shot.
Fett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Minard's calf.
Fett lands with a thumping leg kick.

Minard misses the shot to the body.
Minard shoots for a double leg takedown but Fett sprawls well. He's pushed Minard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vasili Fett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Minard.
Minard missing with a left hand there. Fett was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good leg kick by Fett there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Minard.
Minard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fett.
Fett turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Fett throws a big counter combination but Minard scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Minard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fett goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Minard shoots for a takedown but Fett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fett is looking to slow Minard down with leg kicks.
Minard's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Minard lands a two punch combo.

Minard looks winded!
Fett throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Minard's head.

Oooooh!!! Fett has knocked Minard down with a huge combo! Fett steps away and waves a wobbly Minard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Minard is rocked!
Minard backs away from a small jab... but Fett lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Minard crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Fett with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Vasili Fett!
