The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson rushes Newton and presses him up against the cage.
Anderson has a couple of punches blocked by Newton.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Anderson is looking to control Newton's arms but Newton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Anderson has his back to the cage.
Anderson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Newton up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Newton.
Anderson wants to stall.
Anderson taking a breather.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Luther Anderson.
Newton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Newton lands a left and a right that send Anderson crashing to the mat, dazed. Newton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Anderson is rocked!

It looks like Luther Anderson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Newton.
Newton swings for the body but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Newton lands a right hand from hell, dropping Anderson. Newton pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
