Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A head kick misses from Zajev.
McGregor misses with the combination.
McGregor takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McGregor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McGregor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zajev.

Conor McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - McGregor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Zajev lands a nice looking kick to the body. McGregor takes a step back to recover.
McGregor lands a glancing blow to the side of Zajev's head.
Zajev throws the left hand but McGregor avoids the punch easily.
Zajev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGregor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zajev has time to react.

Zajev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGregor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Zajev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McGregor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zajev.
Zajev lands with a slapping head kick.
McGregor throws a combination that misses
and Zajev counters with a big head kick but McGregor shrugs it off.
Zajev throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McGregor.
McGregor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Zajev was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
McGregor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zajev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGregor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Zajev. That one must have hurt.
Zajev takes a body punch but keeps moving.

McGregor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zajev counters with a good, hard body kick but McGregor shrugs it off.
McGregor fails to land with a series of punches.
McGregor looks winded!
McGregor avoids the head kick by Zajev.
McGregor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zajev throws a head kick but McGregor moves out of range.
McGregor closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Zajev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zajev throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McGregor's head.
Zajev connects with a high kick.
Zajev seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
McGregor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zajev scores with a head kick. McGregor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A telegraphed right hand from McGregor misses the target.
McGregor throws a predictable looking body shot
and Zajev counters with a big head kick but McGregor shrugs it off.

McGregor scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Zajev scores with a head kick. McGregor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
McGregor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zajev lands with a slapping head kick.
McGregor is rocked!
Zajev lands a brutal head kick. McGregor looks out on his feet and Zajev throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
