The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinshaw shoots in and drives through. Gallagher sprawls well.
Kinshaw takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gallagher jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gallagher has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kinshaw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kinshaw misses with a looping right.
Gallagher throws a lazy uppercut
and Kinshaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kinshaw does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kinshaw swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Gallagher misses with a low kick.
Gallagher missing with a left hand there. Kinshaw was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It seemed like Kinshaw was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kinshaw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gallagher manages to avoid it.
Gallagher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gallagher wants it to stay on the feet.
Kinshaw cracks Gallagher with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gallagher misses with a double jab.
Kinshaw throws a solid leg kick but Gallagher takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kinshaw.

Gallagher lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gallagher throws a leg kick which misses Kinshaw's front leg but catches the back leg as Kinshaw tries to avoid it.
Kinshaw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gallagher throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kinshaw.

Kinshaw throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gallagher on the side of the head.
Kinshaw throws a looping overhand right but Gallagher ducks down to avoid it.
Kinshaw scores with a hook to the body. Gallagher takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gallagher misses with a looping right.
Kinshaw feints and then cracks Gallagher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gallagher down.
Kinshaw wants to slow Gallagher down by chopping away at his legs.
Gallagher catches Kinshaw with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Philip Gallagher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gallagher throws a head kick that half lands.
Kinshaw misses with a looping left.
Gallagher throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gallagher lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gallagher tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kinshaw avoids it.
Kinshaw misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gallagher.
Gallagher misses with a hook from the clinch.
Gallagher works on Kinshaw's body with a couple of short punches.
Kinshaw pushes off an throws an elbow but Gallagher leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
