The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meinhoff lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brown takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Meinhoff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.
No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt.
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Meinhoff sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Meinhoff scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Meinhoff defends well and Brown ends up having to push Meinhoff into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meinhoff thows a body kick. Brown tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Brown takes one to the chin there.

OH! Brown has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Meinhoff smells blood and charges in for the finish! Meinhoff unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Brown sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
