Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between I Know Wrestling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Sirto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Melvin Sirto enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, I Know Wrestling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Melvin Sirto!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirto darts in looking for a takedown but Wrestling gets double underhooks and turns Sirto into the cage.
Sirto has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sirto there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sirto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wrestling pinned against the cage. Wrestling gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wrestling was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Wrestling throws a big shot that misses.

and Wrestling counters with a nice double leg into guard.
I Know Wrestling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Sirto.
Wrestling is stalling in the full guard.

Sirto looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wrestling has picked Sirto up and slammed him! Sirto can't keep hold of the triangle and Wrestling manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wrestling has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sirto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wrestling defends well and Sirto ends up having to push Wrestling into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wrestling changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sirto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sirto can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrestling lands a nice forearm strike.
Sirto takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Wrestling just content to control the position.
Sirto tries to improve position but can't.
Wrestling lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sirto on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Wrestling remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Sirto is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Wrestling has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wrestling is looking to take a break and control but Sirto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wrestling looks up at the clock and then as Sirto takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wrestling smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Wrestling wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sirto keeps working.

Check out the look on Wrestling's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Sirto is looking to regain half guard here but Wrestling keeps moving and retains side control.

You can see the frustration on Sirto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sirto takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

I Know Wrestling dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sirto tries to clinch but Wrestling moves out of range.

Wrestling manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sirto on his heels. He'll look to pass Sirto's guard now, I'm sure.

Wrestling stands up over Sirto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wrestling keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sirto's head.
Sirto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wrestling might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sirto wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wrestling manages to pass to side control.

Sirto wants to control the action here but instead Wrestling manages to pass to full mount!

Wrestling lands a couple of good shots and Sirto has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
What can Sirto do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
The referee is taking a good look at Sirto as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Wrestling!

Sirto is still in real trouble! Can Wrestling finish him?
Wrestling lands a shot to the head.
Sirto can't escape the position.
Wrestling is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Sirto is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, I Know Wrestling thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
