Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Igor Laponov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Sands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laponov comes into the arena with Oxxxymiron - Where we don't have blaring out of the sound system. Sands is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Irish Soldier Song ... Free & Green. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Sands moves into the clinch.
Laponov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sands digs a right hand underneath Laponov's ribcage. Laponov let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Laponov tries to pull guard but Sands won't allow it.

Laponov tries to stall but Sands uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sands lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A right hand to the body from Sands.
Sands lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Sands.
Sands can't find room to land a body shot as Laponov controls the action.
Laponov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice right hand lands inside from Sands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sands lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Laponov backwards.
Laponov is rocked!
Sands lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Oh Laponov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sands creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Laponov's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Laponov drops to his knees and Sands pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Sands!
Bobby Sands took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
