Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Camila Gero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyatt Storm has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wyatt Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Camila Gero!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a leg kick but Gero sees it coming and moves out of range.

Gero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gero stops Storm from getting back to his feet.
Gero sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Storm controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm wants to control but Gero is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gero is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Storm makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Storm.
Storm wants to stand but Gero is controlling the position.

Storm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Storm keeping moving, preventing Gero from controlling successfully.
Gero stopping the sweep attempt from Storm.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Storm is controlling Gero's posture.
Storm looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gero is one step ahead there.
Gero trying to control the position from guard on top but Storm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nice takedown defense from Storm. No joy for Gero on that attempt.
Storm slaps away a takedown attempt from Gero, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Storm closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gero's guard.

Storm controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've been hearing that Storm has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Gero can't keep his opponent in guard - Storm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Storm is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gero defends it well.
Gero wants to get back to full guard.
Storm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Storm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Storm takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gero wants to get back to full guard.
Storm trying to control the action but Gero is working from the bottom.

Storm stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gero to get to his feet.

Storm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gero's half guard.
Gero wants to stand back up but Storm manages to pass into side control.
Gero looks winded!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Storm stands up and beckons Gero to his feet.
Storm throws a combination. Gero tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Storm fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gero to the ground. Storm is now in Gero's guard.
Gero wants to get back to his feet but Storm passes into half guard.

Gero is pressing down on Storm's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but Gero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Storm gets to his feet. Gero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Storm is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gero can do to turn this around?

Storm forces Gero back against the cage and clinches.

Storm has Gero pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Storm pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gero tumbling to the mat - Storm dives into Gero's guard.
Storm passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Gero wants to control but Storm postures up.
Gero tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Storm wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Storm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gero knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gero can't do much from the bottom here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Storm is looking to take a break and control but Gero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gero tries to get back to half guard but can't.
A lull in the action here.
Storm landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Storm is putting a hurting on Gero here, landing some big shots from side control.
Storm scoring with punches and elbows.

Storm decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Storm has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gero fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gero lands with a thumping leg kick.

Storm drives through and clinches with Gero against the cage.

Storm is trying to trip Gero. He has hold of a leg but Gero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Storm persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Gero pushes Storm off and gets back to his feet.
Gero is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Storm closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gero's guard.
Gero wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Storm manages to pass to side control.


Storm stands up and beckons Gero to join him on the feet.

Gero takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gero takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wyatt Storm dominated that second round.
That's time! Storm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Gero tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Storm defends well and Gero ends up having to push Storm into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Gero scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Storm pushes Gero off and gets back to his feet.
Storm cracks Gero with an open hand slap.
Gero misses with a two punch combination.
Wyatt Storm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Storm changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Storm is trying to get an arm triangle but Gero is defending well.
Gero trying to remain calm as Storm controls from the top position.
Gero takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Storm decides to stand back up. Storm steps back and let's Gero get back to his feet.

Storm tries to clinch up.

Gero tries to keep at a distance but Storm has taken the fight into the clinch.

Storm is trying to trip Gero. He has hold of a leg but Gero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Storm persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gero is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Storm dives into side control.

You can see the frustration on Gero's face as Storm controls the position.

Gero is looking to regain half guard here but Storm keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Storm works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
A lull in the action here.

Gero is looking for a sweep.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gero can't do much from the bottom here.
Storm is chipping away with strikes.
Storm landing strikes.
Gero tries to control but Storm manages to take his back.
Storm connects with a big shot to the side of Gero's head.
Storm is landing with strikes from the back.
Storm scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Storm is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gero is defending well though. Storm let's go of the attempt for now.
Gero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Storm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Storm controls the action.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wyatt Storm showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Storm has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
