The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago moves out of range of the strikes.
Santiago looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Santiago feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Miocics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Stipe Miocic has been cut.
Santiago throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Miocic misses with a straight right.
Stipe Miocic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miocic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miocic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice shot by Santiago.
Santiago throws an overhand right that lands on Miocic's shoulder, as Miocic tries to avoid the shot.
Miocic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Santiago.
Santiago connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Miocic onto his butt! Miocic bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Miocic is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Miocic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As Santiago backs off Miocic throws a huge counter combo but Santiago manages to avoid it all.
No joy there for Miocic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miocic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Santiago moves out of range as Miocic strikes.

and Santiago counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Miocic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Santiago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Miocic looks to throw the jab but Santiago is out of range.
Miocic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Santiago counters with a straight right hand.
A slow jab from Miocic misses its intended target.

Miocic throws a right hand that Santiago ducks under and follows up with a left that Santiago also avoids with ease.
Miocic with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Santiago to score with a decent uppercut.
Miocic throws a good cross that connects.
Miocic walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Santiago rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Miocic has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Miocic is still on wobbly legs! Can Santiago finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Santiago engages and cracks Miocic with a massive lead left hook - Miocic tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Santiago is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcus Santiago!
