Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenshiro Kitase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohihiro Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mishima has chosen Olympic Flame as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yohihiro Mishima!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishima blocks a head kick by Kitase.

Kitase wants to break free but Mishima has control.
Kitase tries for a takedown but Mishima manages to get underhooks.

Kitase avoiding damage.

Kitase wants to sweep here but Mishima controlling him for the moment.

Mishima drops back looking for a leg! Kitase is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kitase manages to kick Mishima off! Mishima jumps back into Kitase's guard.

Kitase is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kitase connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Mishima takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kitase ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mishima moves away.

Kitase lands a nice looking body kick.
Kitase tries to clinch there but Mishima circles away.
Kitase throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Kitase closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kitase wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kitase moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mishima is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kitase.

Kitase shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mishima but Mishima pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mishima keeps control of Kitase as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mishima's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kitase wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kitase, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
