The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bill rushes Langley and presses him up against the cage.

Langley gets control of Bill's arms and successfully pulls guard. Langley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Langley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bill has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Langley uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looked like Langley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Bill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
