The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Fredric Turner has been cut.
Rico dives in and grabs Turner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes down on Rico's head and hops out.
Turner just misses with a punch to the body.
Rico is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Turner staying out of range there.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rico manages to avoid it.
Rico shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turner sprawls well. Turner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rico gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rico goes for a double leg but Turner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Turner continues to drive forward.
