Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erin Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adnan Kan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erin Huber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erin Huber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adnan Kan!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huber darts in and clinches Kan up against the cage.
Huber is trying to break free.
Huber trying to control the position but instead, Kan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Huber into the cage.
Huber really is a fat lump.

Kan manages to pull guard.
Kan working a defensive guard here.
Huber won't allow Kan to get back to his feet.
Huber trying to control but Kan is working from the bottom.
Huber stopping the sweep attempt from Kan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Kan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Huber has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kan is proving hard to escape from.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kan has his foot on Huber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huber works his way back into a safe position though.

Huber decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kan, up you get!
Huber is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kan throws a series of punches but Huber moves out of range.
Kan blocks a head kick by Huber.
Huber avoids the head kick by Kan.
Huber is looking for a counter combo.

Huber closes the distance and clinches.

Kan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huber sitting in guard here, content to control.
Huber would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huber manages to get himself to full guard.


Kan stands up and waves to Huber to follow him.
Huber throws a head kick but Kan moves out of range.

Kan closes the distance and clinches.
Huber has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Huber is struggling to control the position.
Huber is trying to break the clinch but Kan is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Huber effectively controlling the action here.
Huber tries to circle away but Kan has him pinned against the cage.
Huber's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Huber is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kan is keeping busy.

Huber is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Huber to the mat. Huber regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Huber is wriggling around but Kan manages to pass to half guard.

Kan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Huber gets back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Huber looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Huber looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Huber!

Kan wants to get back to his feet but Huber drags him back down.
Kan is not content to let Huber control the position.
Kan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kan wants to control but Huber is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Adnan Kan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Huber's head.


It looks like Erin Huber has been cut.

Kan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Huber's guard.

Huber has an active guard here but Kan has managed to pass into half guard.

Kan maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Huber could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kan has cracked it and Huber is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kan!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Adnan Kan!
