The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanishk Soni's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kwiecinski throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Soni wants the takedown. Kwiecinski is fighting it off but Soni persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kwiecinski's guard against the cage.
Kwiecinski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Soni can do to turn this around?
Kwiecinski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
