Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darby Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurko Tyrma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon comes into the arena with United Booty Foundation blaring out of the sound system. Kurko Tyrma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon tries to clinch up but Tyrma circles away and keeps his distance.
A shot to the body from Gordon misses
and Tyrma counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Darby Gordon has been cut.
Gordon darts in and clinches Tyrma up against the cage.
Tyrma escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyrma swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gordon throws a sloppy head kick and Tyrma moves out of range easily.
Gordon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Gordon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Darby Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Gordon tenderised Tyrma's leg. Tyrma is trying to keep his angry face on.

Gordon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tyrma.

Gordon walks into a stiff left hand from Tyrma.
Tyrma throws a wild body kick that Gordon sees coming a mile off.

and Tyrma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tyrma swats away the attempt to clinch by Gordon.
Tyrma throws a shot from downtown. Gordon moves away and avoids it.
A combination from Gordon does no damage.
Tyrma keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gordon.
Tyrma only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Gordon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That kick from Gordon tenderised Tyrma's leg. Tyrma is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tyrma lands a big head kick that sends Gordon tumbling to the mat! Tyrma takes a step backwards and waves Gordon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Tyrma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gordon.
Gordon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyrma was well out of range. Poor timing from Gordon.

Tyrma wants to counter the offense by Gordon and move into the clinch position.
Tyrma tries to bum rush Gordon with a series of wild strikes but Gordon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tyrma misses with a head kick.
Tyrma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Tyrma counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tyrma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tyrma throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Gordon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tyrma counters by moving into the clinch.
Gordon throws an elbow but it misses.
Tyrma blocks an elbow strike from Gordon.
Tyrma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gordon throws a right and a left that Tyrma avoids nicely.
Gordon moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gordon blocks the elbow strike.
Gordon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tyrma backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gordon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gordon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Tyrma lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Tyrma manages to break the clinch.
Tyrma takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gordon misses with an uppercut.
Tyrma throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Gordon is breathing heavily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gordon.
Tyrma scores with a nice body kick.
Tyrma throws a nice outside leg kick.

Tyrma avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A punch lands to the side of Gordon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gordon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tyrma lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gordon will feel that in the morning.
Tyrma keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Gordon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tyrma tries a head kick but it misses.

Gordon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyrma manages to avoid it.

Gordon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tyrma sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gordon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tyrma clobbers Gordon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Tyrma moves out of range of the leg kick from Gordon.
Gordon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gordon moves out of range as Tyrma throws a body kick.

Tyrma drops Gordon with a beautiful combination! Gordon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tyrma is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gordon wants to stay close but Tyrma steps back to make room for something. Gordon seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Tyrma and Gordon drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
