Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stari Starac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starac comes to the cage accompanied by The Last Waltz . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Starac. Starac gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Starac saw that one coming.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.

Brown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Starac, pushing him back against the cage.

Brown has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Starac is trying to keep an underhook but Brown manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Starac tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.

Starac had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Starac Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.

Brown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starac is breathing heavily.
Brown wants to control but Starac is keeping him busy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brown decides to stand back up. Brown steps back and let's Starac get back to his feet.
Brown misses with a straight left.

Brown pushes Starac up against the cage in a clinch.
Starac tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Starac drops back down to his feet.
Starac throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.
Brown gets underhooks to prevent Starac's takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown is trying to trip Starac. He has hold of a leg but Starac is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Brown persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Starac wants to sweep but no luck.

Starac escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Starac is striking but Brown is not phased and passes to half guard.

Starac is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Starac doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

Brown wants to stand up but Starac has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brown stands up out of the half guard.
Starac shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Starac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Brown tries to bum rush Starac with a series of wild strikes but Starac uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Starac decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Starac closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Starac pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Starac tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brown lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Starac shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Starac's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Starac turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Starac manages to end up in side control.

Starac wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Brown drives through and clinches with Starac against the cage.
Brown prevents a body shot from Starac.
Starac tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Starac prevents a takedown attempt there.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Starac takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Starac is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.

Starac sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Brown throws a right and a left that Starac avoids nicely.
Starac moves out of range as Brown strikes.
Brown lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Starac backs up against the cage.

It looks like Stari Starac has been cut.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Starac.

Brown darts in and clinches Starac up against the cage.
Brown pushes off an throws an elbow but Starac leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Starac. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.

Starac swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brown is now in Starac's guard. A big mistake from Starac there, giving up the dominant position!
Brown wants to pass the guard but Starac is keeping the position.
