Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ebenezer Mufasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Amen Hotep!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mufasa lands a nice looking body shot.
Mufasa looks to score with a jab to the body but Hotep is just out of range.
Mufasa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hotep momentarily.

Hotep gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mufasa throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hoteps head.
Mufasa swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A shot in the inside from Mufasa.
Mufasa misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hotep can't break the clinch.
Mufasa softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hotep lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mufasa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mufasa swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Hotep breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hotep misses with a head kick.

Mufasa has closed the distance and engaged Hotep in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Mufasa scores with a nice short uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mufasa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hotep's elbow.
Mufasa tries to work over Hotep's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mufasa lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hotep trying to control the position but instead, Mufasa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hotep into the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mufasa.
Mufasa is leaning against Hotep and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Hotep manages to pull guard.

Hotep is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Mufasa presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Mufasa lands with a left to the head.
Hotep looks winded!
Mufasa lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hotep backwards.
Mufasa digs a right hand into Hotep's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hotep's gas tank.
Hotep tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mufasa smiles and moves away.

Mufasa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hotep sprawling to the canvas! Hotep rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mufasa finish him?!


Hotep is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hotep misses with a takedown attempt
and Mufasa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mufasa darts in and clinches Hotep up against the cage.
Mufasa lands a nice uppercut.
Mufasa lands with a short shot to the head.
Hotep is still on wobbly legs! Can Mufasa finish him?
A head punch on the inside from Mufasa fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mufasa.
Mufasa misses with the head strike.
Hotep blocks an uppercut.
Mufasa swings wildly with an uppercut but Hotep uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mufasa working aggressively here.
Mufasa misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mufasa throws a head punch that misses.
Mufasa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mufasa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mufasa misses with some punches.
Hotep blocking some punches.
Hotep seems to have recovered his senses.
Hotep jumps guard but Mufasa stands there with Hotep around his waist. Hotep gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ebenezer Mufasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amen Hotep.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mufasa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mufasa lands a big right hand that drops Hotep! The killer instinct kicks in and Mufasa finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Mufasa!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ebenezer Mufasa!
