Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmie Connor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Green!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Green fails with an attempt to clinch.

Connor rushes Green and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Connor stalling.
Green lands with a short shot to the head.
Connor is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Green pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Connor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Green gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Green pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Green jumps guard and drags Connor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Connor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Green dives on top into guard.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Connor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
