Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rio Yaj!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 87 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Goran Schwarzeneg!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzeneg fails in his attempt to clinch.
Schwarzeneg misses with a wild combination.

Yaj shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schwarzeneg is trying to defend but Yaj finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Yaj throwing shots but Schwarzeneg is blocking nicely.
Yaj not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yaj drops an elbow to the side of Schwarzeneg's head.
Yaj seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schwarzeneg has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yaj is working away from the top position though.
Yaj is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Yaj thows a huge punch but Schwarzeneg dodges it nicely.
Yaj throwing shots but Schwarzeneg is blocking nicely.
Yaj drops an elbow to the side of Schwarzeneg's head.
Yaj has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yaj is controlling the pace.
Yaj not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Yaj tries to pass to full mount but Schwarzeneg defends it.
Yaj working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


Schwarzeneg is rocked!
Yaj prevents Schwarzeneg from improving his position.

Schwarzeneg taking some punishment here, with Yaj in his half guard.
Yaj looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Yaj looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Yaj is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Yaj content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Yaj lands with a punch from half guard.
Nice strikes from Yaj there.
Yaj is nestled in close to Schwarzeneg, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Schwarzeneg is still in real trouble! Can Yaj finish him?

Yaj is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Schwarzeneg has managed to free his arm - good work.
Yaj creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Schwarzeneg is out cold and this one is all over! Yaj climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rio Yaj!
