PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mackin roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Chad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Chad told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
roe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Chad gets the takedown into side control.

Chad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by roe, who protects the arm well.

Chad decides to stand up, so the ref orders roe to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chad is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so roe is just riding it out for now. Chad eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Chad has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. roe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
mackin roe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Chad.

Chad drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but roe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chad has roe in his guard.

The Chad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Chad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
