Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hadi Ozturk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samart Payakaroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Payakaroon's choice of entrance music: My Balls and My Word - Geto Boys. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Payakaroon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ozturk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Hadi Ozturk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Payakaroon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
No joy there for Payakaroon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ozturk slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Payakaroon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ozturk moves away.
Samart Payakaroon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Payakaroon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Ozturk counters with a straight right hand.
Payakaroon dives in for a single leg takedown but Ozturk sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Payakaroon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ozturk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

It looks like Payakaroon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
