Cross has taken the fight to the clinch.
Conell throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Conell stops a takedown attempt from Cross.
Cross is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cross goes for a takedown attempt but Conell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gregor Conell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Cross.

It looks like Junior Cross has been cut.

Cross moves into the clinch.
Cross drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cross gets control of Conell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cross will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Conell lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Conell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cross on the ground.
Conell is working Cross over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Conell lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Conell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Conell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Conell is sitting in close to Cross's body. Cross has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Conell is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Conell is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cross.
