Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Baals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorn Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen Enter the Sandman as his entrance music. Harry Baals could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thorn Black's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baals tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Baals with a jab.

Black moves into range and clinches up with Baals.

Black tries to score a body lock takedown but Baals shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Baals.
Black is looking to control Baals's arms but Baals gets an underhook and turns him. Now Black has his back to the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Black has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Black goes for a takedown attempt but Baals pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Black has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Baals is trying to keep an underhook but Black manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Black is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Baals doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Black.

Black is looking for a kimura but Baals is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Black to get the leverage.
Black is looking to take a break and control but Baals is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Black tries to clinch up but Baals pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Black to the mat! Black covers up and Baals unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
