The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood misses with a straight right.

Jones wants to clinch up but Wood keeps it at a distance.

Wood connects with a looping right hand.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Wood, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Wood against the cage but Wood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Wood pushes him off.
Jones shoots in but Wood avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wood on the ground.
