Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dimitri Vasleyiev!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid tries to clinch up but Vasleyiev circles away and keeps his distance.
Vasleyiev throws a solid leg kick but Reid takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vasleyiev.
Reid keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vasleyiev.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Reid.
Vasleyiev throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Vasleyiev moves out of range of the leg kick from Reid.
Reid fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vasleyiev, pushing him back against the cage.
Vasleyiev manages to break the clinch.
Reid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reid drives through and clinches with Vasleyiev against the cage.

I was talking to Reid's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The referee is keeping an eye on Vasleyiev - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Vasleyiev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reid has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vasleyiev has managed to get both his arms back between Reid's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Winston Reid will probably get the nod.
