Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cortez moves away.

and Cortez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cortez escapes and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cortez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
