Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPunchface moves into range and clinches up with Diaz.
McPunchface breaks from the clinch.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Diaz.
McPunchface lands a really nice looking cross but Diaz seems unphased.
It looks like Mike Diaz has been cut.
Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McPunchface eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Diaz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Diaz throws a leg kick that misses.
McPunchface moves into the clinch successfully.
McPunchface unloads a knee to the mid-section. Diaz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
McPunchface lands with a light punch inside.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McPunchface lands a big knee to the head and Diaz goes down! McPunchface pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
