The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez fails with the takedown.
Ikban looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ikban clinches.

Ikban manages to break the clinch.
Vazquez moves out of range of the body kick.

Ikban gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ikban using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vazquez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ikban has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Vazquez regains guard immediately.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vazquez wants to hit a switch here but Ikban passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Vazquez there!
Vazquez bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Ikban pulls Vazquez in close to prevent any damage.

Ikban has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Vazquez has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Ikban tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Vazquez avoids it.

Ikban has picked Vazquez up - he's going for a ride! Ikban dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Vazquez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ikban is working away from the top position though.
Vazquez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ikban drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ikban jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Ikban counters with a crisp one two that drops Vazquez! Ikban thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vazquez to his feet! Vazquez is in big trouble!

Ikban lands a big right hand that drops Vazquez! The killer instinct kicks in and Ikban finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Ikban!
