Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Caplab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and loyta machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Marcin Caplab has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcin Caplab seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, loyta machida!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
machida shoots in but no luck this time.
Caplab throws a shot to the body.
machida fails in his attempt to clinch.
machida fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Marcin Caplab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of loyta machida.
machida shoots for a takedown but Caplab saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
machida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Caplab but Caplab pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Caplab is looking to clinch but machida is avoiding it.
machida moves into the clinch successfully.
machida is fighting off a takedown attempt but Caplab is just too persistent for him and manages to trip machida to the mat. machida regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Caplab has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
machida tries to strike from the bottom.
machida kicks Caplab off and gets to his feet.
machida misses with a takedown attempt - Caplab sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Caplab looks for a takedown but machida sprawls well.
Caplab is breathing heavily.
machida has Caplab up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
machida is looking to break free of the clinch but Caplab has double underhooks.
Caplab turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Caplab manages to end up in side control.
machida throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Caplab connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused machida some visible discomfort.
Caplab remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
machida is looking for a sweep.
Caplab avoids the strikes from the bottom by machida.
machida misses with an elbow from the bottom.
machida tries to escape back to his feet but Caplab has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got machida's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! machida is tapping! Caplab saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
