Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Skywalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pumpkin Spice!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skywalker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Skywalker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spice.
Spice shoots for a double leg takedown but Skywalker sprawls well. He's pushed Spice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
John Skywalker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pumpkin Spice.
Skywalker's corner calls for a 1-2. Skywalker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Pumpkin Spice has been cut.
Spice throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skywalker's waist but Skywalker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spice off to one side.
Spice takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Skywalker is stalking Spice. Spice circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Skywalker, and it's lights out! Spice really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Skywalker!
