Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brad Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Chat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Mclean could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to El Chat's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, El Chat!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclean gets a double leg takedown into Chat's guard.
Mclean is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chat looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Chat wants to get back to his feet but Mclean is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mclean works over Chat with some ground and pound from guard.
Mclean is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mclean trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mclean stops Chat from standing up.
Mclean postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mclean not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chat is looking to stand up but Mclean isn't so interested in that idea.
Mclean is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mclean controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mclean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Chat tries to clinch up.
Chat looks for a takedown but Mclean sprawls well.
Mclean throws a big counter combination but Chat scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mclean fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chat checks it well.
Chat darts in looking for a takedown but Mclean gets double underhooks and turns Chat into the cage.
Brad Mclean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of El Chat.
Chat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chat shoots in for a takedown but Mclean shows good takedown defense.
Chat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mclean avoids it really well and circles away.

Mclean clinches up with Chat and pushes him back against the cage.
Mclean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chat avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mclean's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mclean as he avoids it easily.

Mclean decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Chat on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mclean is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mclean drops an elbow to the side of Chat's head.
Mclean is nestled in close to Chat, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mclean takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chat is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mclean scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chat has hold of Mclean's hands but Mclean slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chat lands with a hook. Mclean tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Mclean shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mclean showed some decent athleticism there.
Mclean is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chat can do to turn this around?

Chat seems a little lost for a moment, as Mclean dominates the positioning.
Mclean lands a decent elbow from side control.
Mclean lands a big left to the face of Chat, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Mclean and another - Chat is out! Mclean stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
