The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop blocks the body kick.
Bishop looks to land a left hand but McKenzie moved out of range nicely.
Bishop throws a looping overhand right but McKenzie ducks down to avoid it.
Bishop has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
McKenzie throws a wild body kick that Bishop sees coming a mile off.
McKenzie throws a big shot that misses.
A solid body kick from McKenzie.
Bishop checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McKenzie defending well as Bishop loads up on a big left hand.
McKenzie misses with a low kick.
Bishop throwing a counter right hand but McKenzie manages to avoid it.
McKenzie throws out a loose jab but Bishop uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from McKenzie.

and McKenzie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Touki McKenzie has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bishop ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bishop throws a looping overhand right but McKenzie ducks down to avoid it.
McKenzie slips under a jab from Bishop.
McKenzie needs to keep his hands up - Bishop had a free shot at his head there.

McKenzie throws a jab but it's blocked by Bishop.
McKenzie throws the kick towards the body but Bishop avoids it.
Bishop changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McKenzie tried to score with a low kick but Bishop checks it.
Bishop keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bishop avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A quick step to the side and Bishop tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bishop throws a good cross that connects.
Bishop tries to bum rush McKenzie with a series of wild strikes but McKenzie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bishop punishes McKenzie's body with a nice straight punch.
McKenzie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That has opened up Touki McKenzie's cut even more.
McKenzie scores with a sloppy right hand. Bishop should have avoided that one.

It looks like Keith Bishop has been cut.
McKenzie tries to land a body kick
and Bishop cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bishop drops McKenzie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McKenzie looks back up at him and smiles so Bishop waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McKenzie is rocked!

The cut above Touki McKenzie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McKenzie gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bishop counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
