Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamaal Clements!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to clinch but Clements is having none of it.
Clements doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Clements throws a body shot but no joy.
Clements tries to land a front kick but Da Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Clements lands with a nice body punch.
Da Silva clinches.
Clements has Da Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Da Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Clements pushes Da Silva back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A hook to the body from Clements.
Clements is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A frustrated look appears on Da Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clements scores with a shot to the side of Da Silva's head.
Clements lands a nice shot to the body.
Da Silva is breathing heavily.
Da Silva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Clements lands a nice uppercut.
Clements lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Nice body punch from Clements - that landed with a thud.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Clements.

Clements tightens his grip and picks Da Silva up, before dumping him to the ground. Da Silva manages to land in guard.
Clements with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Clements stands up over Da Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Da Silva is rocked!
Clements gets to his feet and stands over Da Silva, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Da Silva felt that one! Clements unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Da Silva from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamaal Clements!
