The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myres tries for a takedown but Dalton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dalton takes the fight into the clinch.
Dalton digs a right hand into Myres's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Myres's gas tank.

Dalton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Myres swats away the attempt to clinch by Dalton.

Dalton clinches.
Dalton connects with a knee to the head.

Dalton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Myres scores with a nice strike.

Myres gets tackled into the cage by Dalton. Dalton maintains the clinch.

Dalton keeps control of Myres as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Myres is trying to force a seperation but Dalton has the dominant position.
Dalton gets through Myres's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dalton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Dalton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Myres lands a nice shot that snaps Dalton's head back.

Dalton gets in close and instigates a clinch.

I was talking to Dalton's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on James Myres's cut.
That's time! Dalton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dalton wants to clinch up but Myres keeps it at a distance.
Myres drops his hands momentarily and Dalton needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Myres just on the top of the head. Myres drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Myres - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Corey Dalton!
Corey Dalton very nearly forgot to thank Kalashnikov Nutrition & Supplements (160Q) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
