Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Paul Gregory!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Smith!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets a clinch.
Smith is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Gregory changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Smith drives through and clinches with Gregory against the cage.
Gregory tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Smith's elbow.
A right handed body shot lands from Smith.
Smith working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Smith works on Gregory's body with a couple of short punches.
Gregory is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith is pressed up against the cage. Gregory has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smith down to the mat. Smith avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Smith clinches up against the cage.
Smith lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gregory backwards.

It looks like Jean Paul Gregory has been cut.
A right handed body shot lands from Smith.
A short left from Smith.
Smith gets through Gregory's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Smith scores with a nice short uppercut.

Gregory is rocked!
Smith creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gregory with a big uppercut! Gregory tries to clinch up but Smith pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gregory to the mat! Gregory covers up and Smith unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
