Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Musta Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Laine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed - Sound of Silence. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd cheers as Laine lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzalez doesn't seem phased though.

Gonzalez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Laine walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Musta Laine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A left and a right from Laine both land. Nice combination.

Laine shoots in and bounces Gonzalez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Gonzalez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Laine is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gonzalez.
