The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pop keeps the fight on the outside.
Gold fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gold shoots for a takedown but Pop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gold tries to clinch but Pop moves out of range.

Gold shoots for a double leg takedown but Pop sprawls well. He's pushed Gold's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitali Gold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gold tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pop swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pop keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pop changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gold looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pop in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Gold looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Pop turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
