Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Tupac - Last Muthafucka Breathin'. Nicki Adams will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Adams.
Adams missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Adams just misses with a punch to the body.

Gracie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adams.
Adams takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Adams throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Gracie was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
