Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fredrick Darcy!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiko shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Darcy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hiko throws a strike aimed at the side of Darcy's head but Darcy avoids it well.
Darcy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hiko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Darcy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hiko.
Hiko cracks Darcy with a big elbow.
Darcy tries to bench press Hiko off him but Hiko keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darcy is trying to get back to his feet.

Darcy is not content to let Hiko control the position.

Hiko is looking to take a break and control but Darcy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hiko in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Darcy looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Hiko turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

A very excited looking Aki Hiko rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Fredrick Darcy stepped up to the mic, saying 'I see no reason to associate with the likes of you country bumpkins!'.
