Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Barcello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Railhell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Railhell has chosen Immediate Music - Imperativa as his entrance music. Jeff Railhell struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcello shoots for a double leg takedown but Railhell sprawls well. He's pushed Barcello's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Barcello shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Barcello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Railhell on the ground.
Railhell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Barcello drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Railhell dives on top into guard.

Railhell trying to control the position but Barcello is working away.

Barcello looks to move to half guard but instead Railhell has passed into mount! Damn!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Railhell looking for a guillotine from mount but Barcello is having none of it.
Barcello is desperately trying to improve his position but Railhell has a good base and remains in mount.
Railhell with shots to the head and body - Barcello looks very uncomfortable down there.
Railhell controlling the position easily from mount.
Railhell is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Barcello is in real trouble.
Barcello turns into Railhell and is now in his guard.

Barcello postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Railhell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barcello, into his guard.
Railhell passes Barcello's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Barcello is breathing heavily.
Barcello is looking to improve his position.
Railhell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Barcello works his way to full guard. Good work.
Railhell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Barcello's guard.

Barcello looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Railhell trying to control the pace.

Barcello actively working from the bottom here.

Barcello looking for subs from the bottom but Railhell mounts him!
Barcello is in all sorts of trouble here.
Railhell controlling from mount.
Barcello is trying desperately to improve position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barcello stops Railhell from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Barcello is looking to improve his position but Railhell isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Barcello closes this distance looking for a takedown but Railhell circles away.
Barcello tries for a takedown but Railhell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Railhell feints and as Barcello raises his hands in defense, Railhell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Railhell works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Barcello is in trouble now - Railhell has advanced to mount!
Barcello wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Barcello is really stuck here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well, with Railhell on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Barcello is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Barcello covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Barcello rolls, trying to escape but Railhell keeps control of the position.

Railhell is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Barcello is tapping out! This one is all over!
