The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearns lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hearns.

Blunt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hearns sprawls well initially but Blunt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hearns manages to get to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hearns is on top in guard.
Blunt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hearns wants to stand but Blunt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blunt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oh but Hearns is tightening it up a little... Blunt has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Blunt reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Blunt taps out! nice BJJ there by Hearns!
