Bender has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Smith rushes Bender and presses him up against the cage.

Smith has had enough of the clinch but Bender keeps him there for the moment.

Bender misses with the body kick

and Smith counters with a crisp one two that drops Bender! Smith thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bender to his feet! Bender is in big trouble!
Smith cracks Bender's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Bender slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Smith can do further damage! This one is done, son!
