With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edwin Russo!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow Hunter tries to move into range but Russo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
No luck for Shadow Hunter with that takedown attempt.
Russo lands a jab to the nose.
Shadow Hunter staying out of range there.
Shadow Hunter tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Russo manages to circle out of the way.
Russo swings for the body but Shadow Hunter moves out of range.
Shadow Hunter is looking to counter the offense by Russo and move into the clinch.
Russo misses with an uppercut.
Russo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Russo lands a glancing blow to the side of Shadow Hunter's head.

Shadow Hunter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Shadow Hunter tries to score with some ground and pound. Russo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Shadow Hunter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Russo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
We've been hearing that Shadow Hunter has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Russo parries the strikes from Shadow Hunter easily there. Shadow Hunter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Russo to escape.

It looks like Edwin Russo has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shadow Hunter throws a strike aimed at the side of Russo's head but Russo avoids it well.

Shadow Hunter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Russo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Shadow Hunter scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Russo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Shadow Hunter can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Shadow Hunter!
