Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Persson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stokes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stokes wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Persson takes the fight into the clinch.
Persson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Persson lands a takedown into guard.
Stokes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Persson looking to sit in guard and control but Stokes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

I would not like to be Stokes right now.
Stokes is trying to get back to his feet but Persson has full control of the position and if anything, Stokes has just worked his way into a worse spot.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stokes is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Stokes gets tackled into the cage by Persson. Persson maintains the clinch.

Mattias Persson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Persson clinches up with Stokes and pushes him back against the cage.
Stokes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Persson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Stokes jumps guard but Persson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Stokes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stokes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Persson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Persson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Persson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Persson jumps guard and drags Stokes to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Persson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stokes's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Persson wants to control from the top but Stokes keeps moving.

Mattias Persson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Persson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
