Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Od Bulerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Borsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Od Bulerk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ron Borsen!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bulerk shoots in and bounces Borsen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Borsen wriggles free and stands up.
Bulerk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Borsen.
Borsen fails with a takedown attempt.
Borsen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bulerk.
As Bulerk backs off Borsen throws a huge counter combo but Bulerk manages to avoid it all.
Borsen works over Bulerk's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Od Bulerk has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bulerk moves into the clinch.
Bulerk wants to take the fight to the mat but Borsen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bulerk is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Borsen is defending well for now.

Bulerk ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bulerk no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Borsen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bulerk keeping moving, preventing Borsen from controlling successfully.
Bulerk seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Borsen gets to his feet. Bulerk looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Borsen stuffs the takedown.

Bulerk has closed the distance and engaged Borsen in a clinch.
Borsen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A bit of stalling here from Borsen.

Borsen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Bulerk throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Borsen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bulerk works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bulerk tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bulerk is working hard here to advance position.
Bulerk keeping moving, preventing Borsen from controlling successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Borsen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bulerk throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Borsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bulerk, pushing him back against the cage.
Borsen wants a takedown.
Borsen stalls.
Bulerk wants to get back to striking at distance but Borsen won't allow it.

Bulerk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bulerk closes the distance looking to clinch
and Borsen counters with a series of strikes. Bulerk will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bulerk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borsen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Borsen is looking for a sweep.

Bulerk decides to stand back up. Bulerk steps back and let's Borsen get back to his feet.

Borsen pushes Bulerk up against the cage in a clinch.

Bulerk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Borsen gets a takedown into half guard.
Borsen looks winded!
Bulerk tries to get to full guard but Borsen has control of the leg.
Borsen wants to control but Bulerk is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bulerk throws a nice looking combination but Borsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Borsen wants to clinch up but Bulerk keeps it at a distance.

Bulerk shoots in and gets a takedown into Borsen's guard.
Borsen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bulerk preventing the sweep.
Bulerk passes Borsen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Borsen is breathing heavily.
Borsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bulerk misses with a head kick.
Bulerk falls off balance throwing a combination

and Borsen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bulerk kicks Borsen off and gets back to his feet.

Bulerk escapes and gets back to his feet.

Bulerk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bulerk tries to move to mount but Borsen blocks the move with his legs.
Borsen is trying to control Bulerk's posture but Bulerk avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bulerk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Borsen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bulerk tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Bulerk decides to stand back up. Bulerk steps back and let's Borsen get back to his feet.
Bulerk throws a head kick but Borsen moves out of range.

Bulerk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bulerk scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Borsen tries to roll over but Bulerk keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bulerk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Borsen but Borsen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Borsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Borsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bulerk tries to lock up and control but Borsen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Borsen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bulerk keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bulerk wants to control but Borsen is having none of it.
Bulerk can't escape the position.

Borsen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bulerk's face.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ron Borsen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Borsen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
